Concept of "Weight volume" |
Following IATA regulation, the weight volume
of your shipment is calculated on the basis of : 167 kg for 1 cubic meter.
Examples :
Your suitcase or a metal trunk has following dimensions :

Length : 0,80 m |
| Width : 0,45 m |
| Height : 0,33 m |
| Volume = 0.12 m3 |
| Weight volume = 20 kgs |
If gross weight is
lower than the volume weight, transport costs will be calculated on the basis
of 20 kg.
Your suitcase or metal trunk has following dimensions :

| Width : 0,55 m |
| Height : 0,38 m |
| Volume = 0.21 m3 |
| Weight volume = 35 kgs |
If gross weight is
higher than weight volume, transport costs will be calculated on gross weight
basis.
